Nulinks Extension - How Does It Work?
Why use this extension?
Our goal is to make our university sites easier for students to access. Since many of you spend a lot of time at Northeastern, we want to give you a tool to help you stay informed. Whether you need to log in to your account, search a database, submit an application or download a PDF, you can do it from within this tool. If you prefer not to install the extension, you can also visit nulinks.cc and search by typing the page name.
How does the extension work?
When you activate the extension, it is already set to show only the pages that are available to the public. So you will not have to register or login to use it. Once the page is loaded, you can search for the information you are looking for by simply typing into the search box. You will see a list of pages in order of popularity. The extension has two main functions. First, when you activate the extension, you will be directed to a simple list of the university’s site’s that it supports. It is designed to give you quick access to our sites and help you get through them more quickly. The second function allows you to type a search into the browser’s address bar, which will automatically pull up the results. It’s as easy as that!
